The best technology to help your child, and when to use it

Please join us for a fun and interactive session exploring iPads, apps, cell phones and other technologies that can support your child’s success.
Presenters include:
Shani Bender SLP MECP, Bethany Stanley CCC-SLP, and More

Bethany Stanley is a 2007 graduate of Duquesne University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in speech-language pathology. She is certified by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association. Bethany has over 12 years of experience specializing in Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) in the preschool and outpatient clinic settings. Her passion is to give everyone a voice in any way that meets their personal needs. Bethany is a licensed speech-language pathologist in the state of Oregon and is nationally certified by the American Speech-Language and Hearing Association (ASHA).

  • Designed for parents and guardians of children with age 0 - 5 with a disability and professionals that support them
  • Free of charge
  • Childcare Available-- Space is limited; pre-registration is essential. Children must be fed, dressed and ready to start their day by 8:30 am in order to attend childcare
  • Spanish translation available
  • Morning snack, beverages, and family lunch provided
  • Additional speakers, family stories, resource table and NWDSA updates
