Parents of children with Down syndrome, along with the assistance of an advisory board of professionals, plan each RLC session using best practices and the most current research. The RLC recognizes the importance of parents and professionals working together to help children with disabilities. The sessions are interactive, and participants have the opportunity to ask questions, provide feedback and get involved. At the end of the formal session we share a lunch and network. Fathers have been very involved in the sessions and we believe this is due in large part to the fact that we run the sessions on Saturday morning. Each RLC session also features Spanish translation.

Club Upside (all ages)

This is an all ages event where adults can share day to day life, challenges and triumphs; children can play and develop life long friendships; and siblings can share their feelings and know they are not alone on this journey. Play equipment and baby toys are included, snacks are provided and there is no cost to families.
