Eleanor does presentations at schools, universities, and many other large conferences nationwide speaking about her experiences as a young woman with Down Syndrome and what it means to live a fully included life. Please contact us if you would like schedule to have Eleanor present or do a keynote for your organization. Fees are negotiable.

Eleanor Bailey is a graduate of Grant High School. Eleanor is currently a part-time staff member at the Northwest Down Syndrome Association. She is a member of Kids As Self Advocates, sponsored by Family Voices, and has spoken out on behalf of individuals with disabilities on many occasions. Eleanor was a keynote speaker at a NDSC conference in 2009, Keynote at the Portland SW Washington Buddy Walk,spoke at the OHSU Center for Health & Healing and in the Capitol Building in Olympia, Washington.

Eleanor now has a paid job at New Seasons and is a valuable part of the team. Eleanor is thrilled to have a real job and earning her own money.

Eleanor is an active self-advocate who likes to play basketball, swim, hang out with friends, read Helen Keller, travel, study sign language, and sing in a choir.
